I am traveling around the world. This
travelogue is my personal view of what it's like to travel around the world as a
backpacker traveler.
It would have been nice if this travelogue could have started cleanly
and neatly with me leaving from my front doorstep, bound for some far-away foreign land.
But nothing ever seems to work out quite like we hope it to; real events lack our inborn
sense of order. So this travelogue starts in the middle--sort of.
I will as time and events allow, fill in the last year. But for
now, the journey starts, March, 1998 in the Philippines. |
