Magazines: Travel, Adventure Travel, Adventure Sports on the Web

Wanderlust E-zine from Salon Wow. I just stopped by the site. Slick, well written. It makes me feel bad and guilty about what I have done. Then again, maybe it's just becasue I was raised Catholic...

Conde Nast Traveler On-line One of the best-written travel magazines is online. Hold on to your pocket book, Conde Nast Traveler caters to an upscale market. But the writing is superb. Read it and you get an itch in the feet.

Gorp; the Great Outdoor Recreation Pages One of the best sites on the web for outdoor and adventure sports.

Action Asia A great mag covering adveture sports and travel in Asia.

National Geographic A slick web site by one of the best magazines ever.

Outside Magazine Great magazine, and the web site is pretty good to.  If nothing else, go there to read the articles by Tim Cahill; he's the funniest writer to ever attempt adventure sports...

MONK Magazine  Two monks in an RV travel the road and put out a magazine and a web site.  I used to think these guys were the epitome of cool--until I got spam e-mail from them.  If these guys are so enlightened, don't they know that spam e-mail is bad, bad karma?

A Request:
I have re-designed the whole site to (theoretically) improve ease of viewing in all major web browsers and to make individual pages easier to link to.  If you encounter any problems, let me know what the problem is and what browser you are using (for example, "Internet Explorer 3.0 for Windows 95," "Nestscape Communicator 4.0 for Macintosh," or "I don't have a clue, this is my girlfriend's computer" and I will try to fix it.
